Pasture-Raised Turkey
SOLD OUT for Thanksgiving 2011!!
We raised these amazing turkeys in the same way that we raise our chickens - on pasture. They started out as chicks in a protected brooder. Then, when the young turkeys had grown their feathers we moved them to our portable shelters on the pasture. On the pasture, they are free to forage for grass and bugs and are rotated across fresh grass.
Turkeys dressed weights range from about 12 to 20 pounds. Please let us know your weight preference and we will do all that we can to oblige. Please include information about what approximate size turkey(s) you would like in the "Special Instructions" field when you check out - or simply send us an email stating your preference in size.
Due to variance in weight among turkeys, we will calculate the total due when you pick up your turkey. Please note that turkeys are frozen.
